Full House, Full Hearts

The O’Connor House has a lot to celebrate!

First of all, they have a FULL house currently. That means they have seven residents, six babies and one baby on the way! They shared with us that they have not been this full since 2019. They love the busy-ness of school, work, day care and watching their residents work towards their goals.

Three of the O’Connor House residents completed the Medical Assistant Program through the Trinity Free Clinic. They are now looking for jobs in the medical field. Another resident just finished her high school diploma at The Excel Center while she was working part time.

Angel, our program assistant, recently spent some time volunteering and she helped sort donations for their mothers and also put together welcome baskets. While Angel was there, one of the baskets they put together was for a baby born that very day.

With all of the happenings at the house, our partner is also celebrating TWENTY years of service! They will host their Celebration of Life Basketball Madness event on Friday, March 14, 2025. It is a fun basketball themed event.
