Brookside Opens Refuge Center

Our partner, the Brookside Community Development Corporation, recently celebrated the opening of their Refuge Center, an effort centered around a commitment to breaking the cycles of violence in the Brookside community. The Center provides a safe space for individuals and those who are at risk of experiencing violence, as well as those who have been affected by violence in the past. Offerings include a variety of services to support and help people heal from the trauma of violence and build healthier relationships.
