Brightlane in the News

Last week, Brightlane released a new "Homeless Students Education Status" report, which reveals that homeless students in Indiana are falling behind at alarming rates. In fact, without intervention, just 57% of homeless third graders are proficient in early literacy, far below the 82% rate for housed students.

In case you missed it, WFYI, Mirror Indy, Indianapolis Recorder, and WISH TV covered the data and the recommendations to improve outcomes.

The good news is that you can be part of the solution! Volunteers, donors, and community partners help address this real and growing need.

A gift of just $92 provides a full week of mentor-based tutoring for a Brightlane student.

RJS loves our time with our Brightlane students- will you help us make a difference?

One more way you can help support Brightlane while also having a fun night out!
